About David Rabow

David Rabow is a dedicated attorney in California with more than two decades of legal experience. Currently serving as a Deputy District Attorney of Monterey County, he has been responsible for prosecuting criminal cases involving major felonies in domestic violence and gangs. Since starting this position in 2006, he has obtained guilty verdicts in a number of attempted murder and murder jury trials and successfully conducted several court trials and motions that required extensive written work. Additionally, David Rabow has provided training to community organizations and local law enforcement about prosecutions involving elder abuse and gang activity.

Mr. Rabow earned a bachelor of arts in psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a juris doctor from Lewis and Clark Northwestern School of Law. He initially served as a law clerk in two prosecutors offices during law school as well as clerking at the United States Department of Justice in the Environment and Natural Resources Division and in 1995 began practicing as an Assistant District Attorney for Santa Cruz County in California. Holding this position for nearly 10 years, David Rabow supervised the domestic violence unit and handled the prosecution of gang-related adult and juvenile cases. He subsequently spent three years working as an independent contractor for a women’s crisis support organization in Santa Cruz before moving to Monterey and beginning his current position.
